Note to ticket holders:

Transportation is not included in the ticket price. Game attendees should meet in the hotel lobby at 6pm to taxi over to Fenway Park (we suggest attendees order Uber or Lyfts). Fenway Park is approximately 10 minutes from the hotel. Please note that traffic may be heavier than usual with the game and rush hour traffic.

The Tara schooner has traveled over 300,000 kilometers across the world’s oceans. The French non-profit has completed 10 expeditions to study and understand the impacts of climate change and the ecological crisis on the ocean.

Tara is a floating research vessel that lends out the boat to researchers from all over the world who travel to every possible destination to study biological diversity, pollution, and the effect of climate change on the oceans. Their findings and analyses are used by organizations across the world, including the UN.

Attendees will depart in shuttles from the main lobby promptly at 5:00 pm to the New England Aquarium.

Boston Freedom Trail Tour

Boston’s historic center may be small, but it packs in so much history. From an experiment in Puritan exclusiveness to an inclusive modern metropolis, every street, corner and building whispers stories of the past. The Boston Massacre and the original Tea Party took place here. Sam Adams, Ben Franklin and George Washington all roamed its streets.

The Tour will end at Faneuil Hall at 11:00 am and tour attendees are encouraged to grab lunch in that area. Please be advised there is not enough time to participate in this tour and make it in time to also join the Harpoon Brewery one.

In this tour, SPC Advance attendees will get the chance experience the rich history of the company (which has been around since 1908) and explore the new headquarters building, which is located in a revitalized waterfront area of Boston.

At the end of the tour, attendees will have some time to shop at the store attached to the HQ.

EREMA Tech Center Tour

This tour is FULL.

At the EREMA Tech Center in Ipswich, multiple machines are available for customers to test a wide variety of plastic materials for recycling. During the tour for SPC Advance attendees,  we will be running post-consumer plastic material and demonstrate how the process works and the kind of quality of processed pellets are achievable. Visitors will get a hands on experience from start of the process with a plastic bale, through processing and quality assessment and assurance.

As part of the tour, all visitors 21+ will enjoy a range of freshly-brewed Harpoon and UFO beers. During the tasting portion of the tour, a member of the Harpoon Staff will be available for a private Q&A session about the sustainability initiatives and packaging at our Brewery!

Seaman Paper Tour

Visit one of the leading lightweight decorative tissue mills in the United States and learn about their “Soft Steps Forward” Sustainability initiatives. Located in Gardner, MA; Seaman Paper has been operating since 1946. The tour will explore Seaman Paper’s papermaking process and the sustainable actions that have allowed the mill to stay competitive on a global basis.

Please note, closed-toe shoes are required for this tour.

Tour will depart from hotel lobby, attendees will be bussed (with WiFi) to Seaman Paper.

Waste Management MRF Billerica Tour

This tour is FULL.

The tour will begin with an overview of the process flow at the MRF from the time material is received and graded to the time when it is loaded on a truck as an outbound commodity. We will review some of the challenges facing us in the recycling industry today and countermeasures to ensuring that our programs are sustainable long-term. The group will then tour the facility and see the operation first hand. We will conclude with a Q&A back in the conference room.

Sturdy shoes are required, no open toes. Groups will be broken down into sets of no more than 12 people and hard hats, safety glasses, and vests will be supplied to ensure everyone is visible and protected.
