Laura Tufariello is a long-standing advocate for sustainability and corporate responsibility. An active founding member of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition and past adjunct professor in the Packaging Department at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Laura uses education and peer-collaboration to develop new paths towards social change.
Laura is the President and Founder of the award winning company, Design & Source Productions, a global supplier of branded merchandise and luxury packaging for companies like Starbucks, and MoMA. Founded in 1996, her business has since motivated greater sustainable development & innovation.
In her newest project, Laura has opened the doors to her NYC office loft to create DS Labs, a free co-working space for entrepreneurs. A refreshing concept aimed at stimulating professional growth and idea generation, the space gathers innovative thinkers to work on projects with a social mandate. Working on initiatives such as Laura’s Evolving Voice, a wearable line of accessories designed to promote personal social responsibility, DS Labs connects unique talents who can help change the world.
