Sarah Levine
Mattel
Sarah Levine joined Mattel in early 2013 and is currently the global head of sustainability programs. In her role, she oversees the programs for all aspects of Mattel sustainability including operational sustainability, sourcing, packaging, and design. A major area of focus for Sarah in the past year has been continued work on packaging sustainability across Mattel’s portfolio of iconic brands. She particularly enjoys the aspects of her role which allow cross-functional working to address all elements of the process from ideation to final product. This holistic view allows for additional insights into the challenges and opportunities for improving sustainability in packaging. Prior to joining Mattel, Sarah worked in environmental engineering for the aerospace industry. A graduate of the University of Southern California in Environmental Science, Sarah has an inherent passion for sustainability and is excited about contributing to future advancements in sustainability practice, technology and culture.
