Susan Long

Susan Long is the sustainability initiative manager for REI Co-op. She works on operational impact issues like recycling, renewable energy, green building, and sustainability reporting. She joined REI in 2016, and has worked in the sustainability field for over 10 years, previously with Starbucks Coffee Co. She has a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering (Rice University/Purdue University), and an MBA from University of Chicago. She Opts Outside as often as possible to mountain bike or ski with her husband, and their dog.
