Rosario Santos

Rosario Santos has served as Project Manager of The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF), Americas office and its predecessor organization, CIES, for the past 13 years.  Her responsibilities include management of CEO level multi stakeholder platforms at regional level as well as CGF’s Latin Board of Directors. She also looks after CGF’s constituency helping grocery retailers and manufacturers become involved in CGF’s various industry initiatives in Sustainability, Product Safety and Health & Wellness.

The Consumer Goods Forum is a global, member-driven organization that brings together grocery industry leaders to address pre-competitive, shared challenges. Recently, Rosario developed and leads a North American Food Waste Working Group which aims to reduce food waste by 50% within CGF’s own member operations by 2025.  This is one of CGF’s Board approved resolutions aligned to support the broader UN Sustainability Goals.
