With over 25 years experience within the Packaging Industry, I initially began my career as a Packaging Buyer at McVities before moving into Packaging Development, working across many sectors including beauty, fashion and quick service restaurants. Returning to retail in 2014 to work for Waitrose & Partners where I have responsibility for substrate and structure for over 17,000 SKU’s, with the most important and demanding part of my function being to deliver our packaging strategy – ‘all our own brand packaging to be widely recycled, re-usable or home compostable by 2023’
