Mariagiovanna Vetere

As NatureWorks Global Public Affairs Manager, Mariagiovanna represents the company on
public and legislative affairs. Her responsibilities include product Circular Economy options,
feedstock, and biomass sustainability aspects, and interfacing with relevant industry associations and external stakeholders. She manages an extensive network and relationships with the Plastics industry associations, Brand Owners associations, and NGOs; she has practical experience in how EU directives set at the Brussels level translate into actions at the EU country level.

Mariagiovanna brings a strong background well suited to this space, having spent the last 10
years at Corepla, the Italian consortium for Plastics Packaging Collection, Recycling and
Recovery. She has previous experience with consulting company KPMG where her focus was Business Process Reengineering. Mariagiovanna holds a master degree in Economics.
