Manuel Prieto is a Partner with McKinsey & Company in Houston. Manuel leads McKinsey’s Petrochemicals practice in the Americas and sits in the board of Chemicals Insights a McKinsey Solution in petrochemicals fundamentals and microeconomic analysis. He is the author of several knowledge pieces at McKinsey including “Chemicals 2025: Will the industry be dancing to a very different tune?

Manuel primarily serves global chemical companies and private equity funds in growth strategy and performance-improvement programs. He has done significant work on sustainability and circularity, helping clients understand impact on future demand and how to incorporate sustainability and circularity as part of their core strategy.

Manuel holds an MBA from the Jones School at Rice University in Houston, and a BBA from Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico.
