
Keith Argow
Woodland Owners Association
Keith Argow is a forester and woodland owner with 4,900 acres of actively managed timberlands, a background that has prepared him to serve as President of the National Woodland Owners Association as well as director of legislation for the nationwide Alliance of Landowner Associations. He is the Publisher of National Woodlands Magazine, and the Fire Lookout Network Magazine. Dr. Argow has been actively involved nationally in forestry issues for more than 50 years, including the Coalition to Sustain American Forests, the Sustainable Forestry Roundtable, the American Forest Congress, Board of Directors of the American Forestry Association (12 years—now American Forests) and is a past Chair of the National Council on Private Forests. He is the Manager of Green Tag Forest Certification for the National Forestry Association. Raised in Oregon, he received undergraduate degrees from Colorado College and the University of Michigan. He holds a PhD in Forestry and Political Science from N.C. State University.
