Dennis Aler

As Director of Sustainability at RR Donnelley, Dennis is responsible for supporting the company Sustainability Approach, which outlines initiatives relating to Resource Efficiency, Waste Minimization, and Sustainable Procurement. Part of his role is to support the RR Donnelley Forest Stewardship Council™, the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification, and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® multisite certificates, which include over 150 chain-of-custody certified locations worldwide. Dennis has a B.S. in Environmental Health from Illinois State University, and has been with RR Donnelley for 13 years. RR Donnelley has recently been recognized as the winner of the Gravure Association of America (GAA) GAA 2014 Management Excellence Awards in the safety and sustainability categories.
