Christine Leveque

Christine is Head of Business Innovation for SUEZ in Benelux and Germany.  In her function, Christine leads a team of engineers and marketeers facilitating and accelerating the emergence of new circular business ventures.  The last years have seen her focusing on projects related to the recycling of plastics, and more specifically polyolefins and PET used in packaging.

She holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the U-Mons Polytechnical faculty in Belgium.  From the revamping of nuclear power plants to the development of biogas stations, Christine spent half of her career taking care of the energy resource, before making the move towards the material resource.

She is a registered expert at the European Commission for aspects related to the circular economy, and is member of the board of PETCORE Europe and MATERIA NOVA research centre in Belgium.
