Brittany Szczepanik

Brittany Szczepanik is a Senior Project Manager within NSF’s sustainability consulting program. She specializes in helping clients to strategically advance sustainability initiatives and mitigate climate risks for their products, processes, facilities and supply chains. She is the architect of NSF’s proprietary risk scanning tool and co-developer of a Sustainability Maturity Model jointly owned with Mercer. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master’s in Energy Systems Engineering and a Master’s in Sustainable Systems, where she was awarded the Bosch Sustainability Fellowship and College of Engineering Fellowship, and received a Dow Distinguished Award for Interdisciplinary Sustainability and the National Graduate Sustainability Research Award from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
