Brian Glasbrenner

As the Commercial Director for the Americas region at NatureWorks, a company formed with the mission of bringing to global markets a broad family of naturally advanced, renewably sourced, materials, Brian leads a team of sales professionals delivering key results to our business strategies with customers.

In his 16 years with the company, he most recently served as the Global Commercial Manager for the Performance Chemicals Business, responsible for sales and marketing strategies in North America, Europe and Japan for the Vercet™ line of products based on lactides. Prior to these roles, Brian was the Business and Market Development Manager for the Food Service and Rigids packaging businesses within NatureWorks, supporting strategic customers and application development. Brian was also the North American Sales Manager for the Flexible Packaging Market at H.B. Fuller. Brian assembled a team of experts to meet the ever-changing needs of converters within the packaging industry.

Brian holds both a BS degree in Chemistry from the Institute of Technology and in Biology from the College of Biological Sciences, both at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
