Barak Bright

Barak Bright grew up, went to college and started his career in the Pacific Northwest. He has over 15 years of experience developing and marketing sustainable solutions in the foodservice packaging industry. Barak attended his first SPC meeting in 2008. The collaboration and insight gained at SPC meetings over the years influenced the brands and products his team developed. Barak spent 10 years in Chicago with Bagcraft-Novolex, where he pioneered and managed the development of the Dubl Life®, EcoCraft®, Dubl Shield® and Dubl View® brands of sustainable packaging. In 2017, he accepted a position with Clearwater Paper to lead the product development and marketing teams for Clearwater’s pulp and paperboard division. Barak and his team are currently focused on developing sustainable and affordable paper cup materials. Barak is married and has one daughter. He enjoys collecting vinyl LP’s, playing saxophone and spending time outdoors with his family. He resides in Spokane, WA.
