Alisha Dakon
Instructional Designer and LMS Administrator
Alisha is an Instructional Designer and LMS Administrator at GreenBlue. She endeavors to advance GreenBlue’s online educational offerings and Collaborative work with staff subject matter experts through designing and developing learning materials in different modalities (i.e.: presentations, videos, audio, infographics, SCORM practice activities, assessments, bibliographies, etc). Her keen interest in learning sciences drives her to incorporate evidence-informed best practices from instructional methodologies, design models, adult learning principles, and accessibility standards into her work. As the Administrator of a Learning Management System (LMS), Alisha manages the complexities of the platform, as well as its users and content. Additionally, she provides GreenBlue with information technology support and troubleshooting on hardware, software, services, and SPC’s annual events. Alisha holds a Master of Arts in Education and Human Development in Educational Technology Leadership from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication, Journalism from Appalachian State University. In her free time, Alisha enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling near and far to sites associated with the U.S. National Park Services to explore and collect cancellation stamps in her Park Passport book.
