GreenBlue Innovation Summit: Forest Certification

GreenBlue is delighted to introduce the Innovation Summit on Forest Certification, a groundbreaking gathering of thought leaders from across the forest products supply chain in an exclusive day-long event in Charlotte, NC on June 12, 2014. Participants will gather to discuss changing needs in the certified forest products industry as well as strategies to address these needs. We hope that you will join us for this unique event.

Participants will engage in facilitated, small groups in a discussion framework adopted from GreenBlue’s Value Innovation Process to define what the most valuable elements of forest certification are to them, and what potential strategies can be developed with value chain members to deliver this value. The focus for this Summit is forest certification in the United States and Canada.

Confirmed participating supply chain stakeholders include Avery Dennison, Domtar, Unisource Worldwide, Macmillan, McDonald’s, Avon, Catalyst Paper Corporation, HAVI Global Solutions, RR Donnelley, Sappi, Staples, Tembec, and Time Inc. Additionally, in attendance will be representatives from the major certification organizations: American Tree Farm System (ATFS), Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), and Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI).
