Courtney Cloninger

Courtney Cloninger is an R&D Group Manager for The Clorox Company, where she works on color cosmetics for the Burt’s Bees brand. She leads a cross-functional team responsible for developing formula, leading scale-up activities, and creating packaging for all new cosmetic products. Her team works closely with the Burt’s Bees Sustainability Team to ensure raw materials are sourced ethically and sustainably and also leads initiatives to increase use of easily recyclable or reusable packaging while driving up the total amounts of post-consumer resin in each package. In previous roles, she has led the Burt’s Bees R&D Packaging Team as well as worked in Project Management and Quality. She has a BS from Clemson University.
