Amanda Ellen

Amanda has always known she wanted a career that would allow her to positively influence the world around her.  She earned her BA in Environmental Studies from Salisbury University with minors in Biology and Art. During her senior year, she initiated a sustainability assistant position for the college and helped to implement a variety of new sustainability initiatives campus-wide. Since her graduation, Amanda has held several positions that have allowed her to educate future generations about the importance of sustainability and its impact on the planet. She recently joined GreenBlue’s How2Recycle team as a Project Associate and is excited to continue to fulfill her goal of positively influencing the world around her. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her rescue pup, hiking, working out, and playing sports. She also enjoys creating different types of art and recently started to paint pet portraits.
