Curt Wells

As Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs, Curt Wells provides leadership for the industry on a range of environmental, health, safety and other regulatory issues. Prior to joining the Aluminum Association, Curt worked as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist for the environmental consulting firm, StrataG. In addition, he served in a variety of environment, health and safety leadership roles for more than 18 years for both Alcoa and the Reynolds Metals Company. Curt’s many years of experience in the aluminum industry, coupled with his additional early work as a state regulator, provide a solid foundation for his effective advocacy of the industry in the Regulatory Affairs area. Curt received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an environmental focus from the University of Texas at Austin and holds Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) certification from the Institute of Professional Environmental Practice.
