Kelsey Towne

As an Art Director of Environments at prAna, Kelsey is a passionate advocate for the absolute highest standards of sustainability. With a skill set fortified by a wide variety of mediums that span the 2 and 3-D aspects of design, Kelsey combines her artistic talent and desire to protect the environment to achieve both professional success and a deep sense of personal satisfaction.

In the 10 years she has been at prAna, she has converted all retail displays, signage and branding materials to be 90% recyclable or compostable, and has built a robust window display program that connects the educational piece of sustainability to the visual design aspect. Working with prAna Founder Beaver Theodosakis, she designed the first accessories packaging program to be 100% recyclable, and continues to advocate for the best possible materials in our hang tag, trim and packaging programs.

A lifelong Californian, Kelsey studied Illustration and Fine Art at the Academy of Art in San Francisco before graduating from The Art Institute of California-San Diego with a BS in Graphic Design. She enjoys being active outdoors with her two boys, volunteering and educational events around conservation.
