Circular Matters
Susan Bush is a Principal with Circular Matters, a consulting practice that specializes in sustainable materials management solutions and circular economy building. She has over 25 years of experience in environmental policy work, most of which has focused on recycling and solid waste management. Susan has worked with both public and private-sector clients throughout North America on various types of projects designed to improve recycling and sustainability of packaging, including assessing recycling programs and recommending ways to improve them, identifying best policy and programmatic practices in recycling, developing sustainable material management plans, and working with businesses to better understand the evolving packaging expectations from the perspective of customer sustainability goals as well as policy trends. Susan earned her undergraduate degree in economics from Wake Forest University, and her M.S. in resource economics from the University of Rhode Island.
