Wendy Phippen

Wendy Phippen has been the Director of Environmental Compliance at Microsoft since February 2017. She leads a team of environmental professionals focused driving towards more sustainable products and packaging, ensuring hardware and packaging conforms to global environmental regulations. Before joining Microsoft, Wendy directed product and packaging sustainability and environmental conformance programs for several consumer electronic product manufacturers. Over the past 20 years, she has managed or worked within environmental teams dedicated improving corporate and product sustainability. Wendy believes impactful change requires more than just a single voice championing for change, it requires broad cross-industry collaboration to define disruptive solutions.
