Jordan Best

As Director, Collection at Recycle BC, Jordan oversees Recycle BC’s province-wide network of curbside, multi-family and depot collectors of packaging and printed paper. As the lead of the Collection Team, Jordan is responsible for the sourcing, contracting and oversight of the 175 local governments, private companies and non-profit organizations that provide collection services to the Recycle BC program. Prior to joining Recycle BC, Jordan held positions as the Program Director of the Major Appliance Recycling Roundtable and the Senior Program Coordinator at Product Care Association, where he led the development and implementation of a number of new extended producer responsibility (EPR) programs for materials such as major appliances, small appliances and lighting products. Jordan holds a Masters in Environmental Management from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia. When not hard at work, Jordan can be found on the ocean at home in the Comox Valley.
