WATER-SOLUBLE MATERIALS
SmartSolve Industries encompasses a family of environmentally friendly water-soluble paper materials that are produced in multiple thicknesses and configurations. From pouches and paper to label stock and board stock, SmartSolve delivers a variety of packaging applications for the consumer goods, construction and children’s toy industries, among others. Water-soluble paper from SmartSolve can also be printed on most web and sheet fed presses including digital, flexography, letterpress, and dry offset. It requires no special equipment and accepts water and oil based inks.

PRESSURE SENSITIVE LABELS
SmartSolve pressure sensitive labels, unlike traditional labels, possess the unique added advantage of quickly and easily dissolving when coming into contact with water and agitation. SmartSolve labels dissolve in 30 seconds or less in any water temperature, leave behind no adhesive residue and are perfect for reusable containers. The same unique characteristics apply to SmartSolve direct thermal pressure sensitive labels, but are specifically designed to print in a direct thermal printer.

Approved for indirect food contact and screened by NSF International for the absence of restricted substances, SmartSolve water-soluble materials have also received certifications from TPCH and CPSIA 2008, OSHA, NIOSH, EU Reach, California Prop 65, IARC, and NTP. Finally, SmartSolve meets Forest Steward Council® (FSC) Forest Management and Chain of Custody Certification requirements for FSC Mix, FSC Recycled products.
